Each year children make several visits to support their learning. Some are local. All the childre have enjoyed visiting the Library and listening to stories. Others are further afield. A selection of recent trips has included:-

Nursery

The Nursery children had great fun `going down to the woods` earlier this year. They may not have found bears then but this was rectified at their later trip to the zoo.

Reception

Reception children paid a visit to Bentley Fields Farm to see animals of a different kind. A highlight of the day was helping with the milking. Back at school children were keen to make their own butter and cheese which were delicious!

Year One

Back to the zoo, this time to look at different habitats of animals. Now then, where do polar bears and penguins come from?

Year Two

Year Two children went to the Black Country Museum as part of a history topic. They discovered some pretty amazing things about how people used to live.

Of course, many people are invited to visit the school to work with the children. We look forward to meeting old friends like PC Hall, muscian Mrs Eaton, friends from local Churches and our Govenors.

This year we have enjoyed several drama visits to support English and science work and especially successful was a drama workshop which produced some very exciting work during a weeks residency.

This term we look forward to meeting players from Stoke City Football Club who are kindly helping us raise funds.
