Meet Our Teachers
Running our school takes a team of very dedicated people and here they are
Head teacher Bernadette Hunter Has been at the helm for three years. "Life could never be described as dull at All Saints!" Mrs Hunter enjoys sewing, walking, reading and visiting interesting places. Deputy head teacher Mr Patrick Shear The longest serving member of staff has spent 26 years teaching children at Alrewas. He remembers the old school at Mill End Lane. Mrs 'Maggie' Faircliff, is the early years co-ordinator who has been at All Saints for the past 25 years. She has worked for four different head teachers and was at the opening ceremony of the present school building. Her hobbies include amateur dramatics and operatics. Mrs Ann Haycock has been a class teacher at All Saints for five years. She enjoys reading and walking. Miss Sue Peace has taught at All Saints since September 1998 and is in charge of the school choir. She is assisted by Mrs Margaret Couzens. Mrs Karen Lamb who teaches class four has been working at Alrewas for three years. She enjoys swimming, reading, sampling wine and travelling. Mr David Sworder joined All Saints in 1994 and teaches year six. He enjoys fishing, reading DIY and travelling. He is assisted by Mrs Sally Stanton. Mrs Mandy Rose has been working at All Saints for eight years and teaches year three. She enjoys sewing, embroidery, gardening and working backstage at the theatre. Ms Anne-Marie Unitt has been the nursery-nurse for three years. She plays the clarinet and listens to music. Mrs Phyllis Webb has been a Personal Welfare Assistant for three years and likes line dancing, reading, cross-stitch and taking part in church activities. Mrs Mandy Windsor has been a class assistant for four years, she enjoys badminton, sewing and reading. Mrs Joyce Wright has been the school secretary for the past 11 years; she likes reading and walking. She is assisted by Ms LizTilley. Mrs June May helps with teaching small groups and puts up displays in the school. Mrs Yvette Tomlinson, catering supervisor has made sure there are good things to eat at All Saints for the last seven years. Her hobbies include sewing, reading and painting. Mrs Marie Durose has been a kitchen assistant for four years and enjoys drawing and gardening and Mrs Sasi Ward also assists in the kitchen.
