Rebecca Swash and Jemma Tiso who interviewed writer Mrs Maria Whatton, who visited the school to tell stories.

Now it's our turn to tell the story

Mrs Maria Whatton, a storywriter and storyteller who lives in Alrewas, came to All Saints school to tell some stories from other countries.

We asked her whether she enjoyed what she did and this is what she said: " I enjoy telling stories because I like communicating and I like stories themselves."

The talented Maria said she was first interested in reading and writing when she was five years old, and her favourite book was 'Wuthering Heights'.

"The most successful story I have ever written is 'The Thinker' which is about children," she added.
