Year 5 have been working on "Transforming Shapes". They used PAINT to make frieze patterns. Some are ROTATING patterns where the shape is rotated clockwise through 90 degrees until it has returned to its original position. Some are REFLECTING patterns where each shape is a reflection of the shape before and after it. Some patterns are made by SLIDING shapes horizontally, vertically or diagonally into different positions. Can you spot which are which?
