The Sun

The Sun was born from a cloud of dust and gases. The diameter of the Sun is approximately 869,020 miles. The mass of the Sun would be 330,000 times Earth's mass and over 1,000,000 Earth-sized planets would fit into the Sun. The Sun is approximately 93,000,000 miles from Earth and the distance the Sun is away from the centre of the Galaxy is 30,000 light-years! Although it gives us light and heat, it also makes this planet and everything on it live, but unfortunately it will die in 5,000,000,000 years time.
