Brandenburg Gate

Hi there! I am standing by the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany. It is located at the western end of Unter den Linden a famous boulevard in Berlin. It was closed to free access until December 1989. The Brandenburg Gate (1788-1791) was built by Fredrick II and was inspired by the gateway to the Parthenon in Athens.
