Hi there! Here I am in New Zealand. It is one of the few countries in the world that has geysers. You can see one behind me. They produce electricity for New Zealand. They are a type of volcano and they erupt at irregular intervals. A lot of steam and water is forced out of the ground by the heat of volcanic rock beneath the earth's surface. The eruption is a fascinating sight.
