Niagara Falls

Hi there! Here I am at the Niagara Falls in North America on the border between Canada and the USA. It is a huge waterfall on the Niagara River. Water from most of the Great Lakes flows through this river. Each minute about 450,000 tonnes of water plunges about 50 meters from a cliff into a gorge. The water pours down on each side of an island. Most of it plunges down the Horseshoe Falls into Canada. The rest plunges down the American Falls in the United States.
