Mount Rushmore

Hi there! Here I am by Mount Rushmore, in South Dakota, USA. It is a big mountain but it has for shaped heads carved in it. The faces carved in it are of the presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The creation of this shrine to democracy took fourteen years (1927 - 1941)   and cost 1 million dollars. It is now priceless. The carving was done by American sculptor Gutzon Borglum.
