The Sphinx

Hi there! Here I am by the Sphinx in Egypt. It is more than four millennia old. The Sphinx of Giza stands in front of the pyramids. This huge statue, in the shape of a lion with a human head,  is 73 metres long, 20 metres high and 14 metres wide. It was carved out of the rock and guards Khafra's tomb. The head of the Sphinx is said to be in the image of the pharaoh.
