The Hugo Meynell School
|
It's early December and the BROG puppet theatre comes once again to entertain the infants. |
The "audience" seemed to enjoy themselves! |

|
The Christmas tree in the foyer had to be decorated of course. |
The infants did a good job didn't they! |

|
The teachers helped to put up the decorations too. |
Miss Jenkinson and Mrs Cowley make a Nativity scene. |

|
Mr Poulter risks his life putting up the big mobiles in the hall! |
Year 5 did an assembly on the theme of "Advent" and included the legend of St. Nicholas. |

|
They also read some funny poems about Santa Claus. |
Next it was the Christmas Fayre. Another big success. |

|
Of course Santa turned up as usual. He brought one of his helpers with him. |
Next it was on to the infant's Christmas production. |

|
There seemed to be a lot of stars around. |
There was one big one called "The Gigantic Star" - the title of the production. |

|
It was the star that lead the Wise Men to Bethlehem and hung over the stable. |
Feeding time at the zoo? No! It's the Christmas dinner! |

Our dinner ladies dressed appropriately for the occasion! |
Next it was the Christmas parties. |
