The Sensory Garden

Children in the school drew plans for a garden which we can use our senses in. First we took the slabs up and then we put a gazebo in the middle of the garden. Then we started planting flowers , herbs and vegetables. Some of the classes wrote to nurseries and asked for some plants and herbs, a few weeks later we got the plants that we asked for and we planted them.

Also in a flower bed we have got a fountain it has pebbles round it. In a flower bed we have got quite a big marrow . We have got some strawberry plants too. Our school entered a competition called Stone in Bloom . Later on some judges came to look at our garden .A few weeks later we found out that we had won Stone in Bloom and are entering Britain in Bloom.

On our Gazebo we have got some wind chimes that class 6 made. We have got one wind chime that is wooden, it makes a nice sound.
