Annual Sabbaths in the year 2009

 

To Believers
throughout the world! "Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father,
and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love."(Ephesians 1:2-4)

Many people do not know that according to the Scriptures the year begins in spring rather than in mid-winter or mid-summer. Speaking to Moses just before ancient Israel was led out of Egypt, Yahweh the God of Abraham spoke of the Passover month of Abib (Nisan) in these words:
Exodus 12:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
2: This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

This means that Abib (Nisan) begins the year when all of nature in the Promised Land springs into life. In view of this fact, we in Stewarton Bible School send New Year's greetings to fellow believers around the world. Many of you already know that besides the weekly Sabbath of Saturday, Yahweh the Almighty God of Israel has seven annual holy days which He has commanded us to keep. These are not Jewish Feasts, but Jehovah's Feasts. Bear this vital fact in mind!
Leviticus 23: 1: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2: Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

The Almighty's Annual Sabbaths in the year 2009 are:

New Years Day - 28th March

  1. First Day of Unleavened Bread ........ 11th April
  2. Last Day of Unleavened Bread.......... 17th April
  3. Feast of Pentecost............................. 31st May
  4. Feast of Trumpets ............................ 20th September
  5. Day of Atonement............................. 29th September
  6. First Day of Tabernacles ................... 4th October
  7. Last Great Day of Tabernacles ......... 11th October
Do remember that Yahweh's Sabbath days are extremely important; more important than we believers remotely imagine. Humanity has arrived at the closing days of this age and the Almighty is about to put an end to man's rebellion against His Holy Word, His Holy Law and His Holy Son Yeshua (Jesus).
Do not join man's growing rebellion, but humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and obey His commandments. Manifold blessings are sure to follow.

He will never forsake you; but make sure that you do not give up your faith and forsake Him. Instead, hold fast, because we do not have long to wait! World events tell us that the Saviour's return is near - even at the doors!
