Project targets for KS4 based on Asian Fabrics.

The Targets have been written to relate directly to the Assessment Objectives set by the SEG Examining Board.

Assessment Objectives :-

1. Record Responses to direct experience, observation, and imagination.


2. Develop ideas for their work, investigating visual and other sources of information.


3. Explore and use a range of  media for working in 2/3 dimensions.


4. Review, modify and refine work as it progresses and realises intentions.


5. Identify the distinctive characteristics of art craft and design and relate them to the context in which the work was created, making connections with their own work.


6. Make critical judgement about art, craft and design, using specialist vocabulary.

1. Make detailed observational studies, in various media of the patterns, designs and subject matter of Asian Fabrics.  (Relates to Assessment Objectives :- 1+3)

2. Experiment with different media and resource material to develop ideas for a final composition (Relates to Assessment Objectives :-1,2+3).

3. Comment on your progress, experiments and ideas. Discuss ways to improve you work (Relates to Assessment Objectives:-4,5+6.)
