ABLE Open Learning Centre

The ABLE Open Learning Centre is part of the Oxfordshire County Council Basic Skills Service.  By basic skills we mean 'the ability to read, write and speak in English and use mathematics at a level necessary to function and progress at work and in society in general' (Basic Skills Agency).

What is ABLE?

It is a FREE centre for anyone who wants to

  • improve their English
  • improve their Maths
  • learn some study skills
  • learn some basic computing
Workshops are open daily Monday to Thursday.

Where is ABLE?

The Centre is based in the College library at the Blackbird Leys site of Oxford College (off Cuddesdon Way).
