Girl being shown communication aidEvery child is different. Which is why the ACE Centre believe that an inclusive and unbiased interdisciplinary approach is the only way of providing a truly appropriate communication strategy for each young person we assess.
An ACE Centre assessment consists of a package of services: careful planning and preparation including video analysis; up to a day of face-to-face contact with the child and their parents, teachers and therapists; a forum for open discussion; half a day’s follow-up support; on-going telephone, correspondence or email contact. Click on the frequently asked questions link below for more information about our assessment service. In some cases the Centre may not have direct contact with the child, but may act closely with those involved in a consultancy capacity.
