A message from Professor Stephen Hawking, Patron and President of the ACE Centre Advisory Trust.I am pleased to endorse the work of the ACE Centre, and their regular activities of assessing and supporting young disabled people making use of aids to communication. There are no public funds available for the advanced development of special needs communication technology and the work can not be done without the help of enlightened trusts, companies and the general public. Young disabled people have shown exceptional ability to learn, using equipment and software already developed by the ACE Centre. As the technology becomes available to improve access, we must develop it for all those who can benefit, wherever they are. Your help can make this a reality. Thank you to all our supporters. |
