Caroline Gray Director |
| Caroline was appointed as Director of the ACE Centre in 1998, after being associated with our work for 12 years. She is an occupational therapist who has been responsible for a wide variety of training and accessing innovations, including the development of an AAC and assistive technology module for occupational therapy students at Oxford Brookes University. gray@ace-centre.org.uk

Andrew Lysley Deputy Drector |
| Andrew has been at the ACE Centre since its inception in 1984. A teacher by profession, he has worked in special needs education for 20 years. When he is not working within the assessment team, his responsibility for research and development brings him into contact with designers and developers of ACC software and systems. He is the only member of staff mad enough to coordinate and manage multinational EU-funded special needs projects. lysley@ace-centre.org.uk

David Colven Technical Adviser |
| David Colven is another staff member who has worked with us since 1984. He was trained as a scientist and after gaining his PhD from Imperial College, London, he became a teacher of physics, maths, electronics and computer studies. David's main responsibility is the day-to-day support of the Centres technology, but he is also an intregral part of the R&D team, and is particularly involved in development of software. colven@ace-centre.org.uk

Andrew Barrett Finance officer |
| Andrew Barrett joined the ACE Centre in October 1997 and has been responsible for implementing a new accounting system, introducing Sage accounting software and streamlining all our financial procedures. Andrew also controls the day-to-day sales of software and publications. barrett@ace-centre.org.uk

| Ann combines the skills of both her professions in her work at the ACE Centre. She is our Training Coordinator and a member of the assessment team. She is also currently carrying out research on switch access to reading. gresswell@ace-centre.org.uk

| Gillian Nelms Communication Therapist | |
| Gill worked as a speech and language therapist at a school for physical difficulties before joining us in 1986. In addition to her assessment, training and R&D and loan library responsibilities here she is also a regional advisor for AAC for the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists and is a member of the National Blissymbol Committee, the International Blissymbol Panel, and the AAC Special Interest Group. | The Walsh dynasty continues to thrive at the ACE Centre with the recent appointment of Pat, who previously worked as a programmer at British Airways.
