 With Prophet, long words can be typed with as little as two key strokes, speeding the task of word processing many times. The program automatically learns any new words typed, and the on-screen word lists are continuously updated to reflect your own writing style and frequency of word use. Prophet also features intelligent word endings, a word pair dictionary and facilities for speech output.
Word prediction has proved to be an invaluable time-saver for those whose physical disabilities make text entry slow. As you type the first one or two letters of a word, Prophet gives you an on-screen list of words that it predicts you want to type. You can then finish the word by hitting the function key that corresponds to the word that you want. |

| Prophet features a huge 10,000 word main dictionary, every word of which is ranked according to frequency of use. You have the option of adding to this dictionary as you type, choosing to edit or exclude the new words. You can set up your own specialised dictionaries. In addition, Prophet's intelligent word ending feature gives even greater typing efficiency by offering a further selection of suitable endings to the words, eg ...ing and ...ed. Version 1.5 features improved word pairing, giving increased prediction power. For the switch user, Prophet links seamlessly to SAW.
