SAW - Selection Sets
<< Software Index  |  SAW - page 1  |  page 2 |  page 3  |  page 4
Selection Sets are carefully designed on-screen grids or layouts containing all the letters, tools, commands etc that you need to access software. The example below contains a range of commands used to navigate around the page of a word processor:
SAW comes complete with generic Selection Sets for accessing any Windows program. Application-specific sets are available that grant even speedier switch access. And as many Windows-based topic, adventure and educational CDs are becoming available, we have developed three types of universal CD access Selection Sets to give fast and flexible switch access to this multimedia environment. We haven't rested on our laurels as far as word processing access goes, either. There are sets that feature smooth, invisible links with word listing, word prediction and abbreviation expansion facilities, accelerating the rate of text creation many times. SAW is DDE-aware, which means that we can integrate applications together seamlessly with the selection sets themselves. SAW also has international character set capability.
