Learn the skills of traditional & antique french polishing, restoring the polish work of antique furniture. The tutor is an antique restorer and cabinet maker. Materials are supplied and you may bring along your own furniture should you wish. This day long course will give you the basic skills required to undertake your own work.

This two day workshop will enable you to complete a rush or cane seat - restoring that junk shop bargain or family heirloom to its former glory. You will need a project to work on and some basic tools, but all other materials are included. The course will also include tips on looking after your furniture. All abilities welcome - the tutor is a traditional craftsman who specialises in rush/cane and seagrass restoration to chairs.
