How do they adapt to growing happily in the less than ideal conditions inside our homes? Which plant can grow in your dark draughty hallway or your hot steamy kitchen? Learn how to provide your house plants with a fighting chance of survival, how to propagate them, how to deal with pests and diseases. Bring along your unhappy plants and see if we can sort out their problems. A selection of house plants will be available at reasonable cost.

A series of 4 intensive classes designed to give those who want to create or re-create their gardens the practical skills needed to put their own ideas into successful practice. Participants will learn how to make a proper garden survey, the principles of garden design, and the techniques needed to implement their own garden plan. Bring lunch, a sketch plan of your garden (to scale if possible), photos or sketches and plenty of tracing paper.

A course developing methods of plant propagation available to the amateur gardener with limited equipment and facilities. It will be suitable for those gardeners with no experience but also offers more advanced techniques for experienced gardeners.
