Car number Fourteen was again a departure from the Fiat ranks, to one of those cars with a certain reputation, the Ford Capri, but not just any old Capri, this one was a 2.8 Injection 'Special'. What made it 'Special' were the half-leather Recaro's, limited-slip diff and two-tone paint job. This was by far the most powerful car I had ever owned (and quite possibly will ever own) and easily the quickest too with 60 coming up in just 7.5 seconds and a top speed of over 130mph, the small problem with this was the fuel consumption which was worse than the Metro which is saying something !

Once again the obligatory I.C.E. install was performed with all the bits that had been in the Y10, with addition of some upgrade door speakers and separate component tweeters, the effect was staggering, the sound was so much better than the standard Ford stereo. Long distance cruising was what this car was designed for and the addition the Ice just enhanced the experience, providing many an enjoyable run to the South Coast or Wales.

This is another car I wish I had'nt sold as it is hard to find drivers cars which are as good as this nowadays, but sold it was or rather traded in for my next car.
