Look for: A cambelt change is required at 63,000 miles. Check alloys for signs that they have been curbed and also check tyres for excessive wear. The Cinque has always been blessed with a dodgy handbrake - fine if you park on the flat, but bad news if you live on a hill ! Check it out.

You pays yer money: Expect to pick up a s****y 1995 Sporting M-plate Cinque Sporting for around the £2000 mark. A 1996 N-reg car in good nick with 27,000 miles on the clock will set you back around four grand. A 1997 P-reg model in A1 condition will cost you around £6000.
