Alcester High School is based in the small town of Alcester, which is situated in the county of Warwickshire. We have 650 pupils in our school. As from September 1998 the school will be re-classified with Technology College status. This will mean over £250,000 of investment in new facilities.
Our head teacher is Mrs. A. Guyver who has been head teacher at the school for just over one year. Our school intake starts in year 7 when the pupils are eleven years old, and pupils leave the school in year 11 at the age of sixteen. The school prides itself on having a friendly close community where everybody gets on well with everybody else.
