Update from Stuart: We now have over 70 entries for the Downland Trial. The closing date is 10th November, so if anyone still wants to enter, please call Claire 01235 816644. We have all the necessary land owners' permission, so we've got the full course with 35 sections all across the Downs.

A full rider list, with allocated start times, will be available to download here shortly after the closing date.

Dinner and Dance - Awards Evening
Saturday 5th December 2009

This year's Dinner & Dance Awards evening will be on Saturday 5th December 2009 at Drayton Golf Club, arrival from 6.30pm to sit down & eat at 7pm. The price this year is £22.50 per person. If anyone wants tickets, please call Stuart.

Hook Woods - Practice Day
Sunday 6th December 2009

North Berks Practice day will be at Hook Woods Trial Centre on Sunday 6th December - from 10.00am until dark by kind permission of Jim Connor.

Practice is for everyone from beginners to world championship contenders. There will be some sections marked out for everyone with 4 routes for each section. The cost will be Adults £15 children £10.

Closed to Club Trials Entry Form Online
You can now download an Entry Form for Closed to Club Trials, to fill out at home and speed up the signing on process on arrival.

Course Layouts for this year's Trials
We have recently decided to introduce a 'Beginners' route, as well as the usual A, B and C routes. This will be marked out with green flags, to provide a nice easy route for some of our younger novice riders.

We will also have a '50:50' option for 'intermediate' riders looking to move up from the B route, allowing them to gain experience gradually of selected A route sections as appropriate.
