In each academic year 5 days will be selected for the school to be closed to children to facilitate curriculum development and staff training. Our School Menu All meals are prepared daily in the school kitchen by our cook Vicky Berry and Assistant Sue Howes. The menu changes twice a year, in the summer and autumn terms. PRICES - DINNERS AND MILK
School Dinner - £1.20 per day. Please pay in advance at the beginning of the week or half-termly by cheque payable to Hampshire County Council. You can pay for a number of meals eg £12.00 for 10 and your child can select to have as many or as few a week as long as it is put in writing at the beginning of the week. Please give dinner money to your child to give to their class teacher in a named purse of envelope with the written requirements for meals itemised. The school dinner menu is displayed in the window of the main entrance.
Additional drinks and puddings - children who have a school dinner can purchase a drink other than the water they are given. Children who have a packed lunch can purchase a drink and/or a pudding. Your child is responsible for the money and it should be contained in a named purse. A list of the drinks and puddings available at lunchtime is also displayed in the window of the main entrance.
Milk - your child will be given milk free until their 5th birthday. After their 5th birthday, you can pay for your child to continue to have milk 1/3 pint a day is 10p. |
