Shugborough was built in 1693 and is now the home of Lord Lichfield, a leading photographer and second cousin to the Queen. The splendid mansion house is decorated using fine collections of eighteenth century ceramics, silver, paintings and French furniture. Shugborough also has agnificent grounds. A favourite part of the grounds is the Chinese House which reflects the English landowners admiration of classical architecture which was fashionable at that time.
