We hope you had a restful Easter break. Please make a note of the holiday dates below, as we are having to work round the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
May Day - Monday 6 May 2002
Half term - Monday 3 June - Friday 7 June inclusive
Teacher training day - Monday 1 July 2002
End of term - School closes Thursday 18 July 2002
New appointment
We are delighted to be in a position where we can appoint a new full-time member of staff for the next academic year. I am currently showing prospective candidates around the school. If all goes to plan, we will have 3 junior classes next year. You will not be surprised to hear that there has been a very positive response to our advertisement.
Head lice
We are still plagued by head lice in the school. Please check your children's hair regularly and treat the hair if required. Continue to check even after treatment because it seems that one dose is not always clearing the head lice away.
Scholastic Book Club
The Scholastic book club booklet has been sent with this Newsletter. Please return any orders to the school office by next Friday 26 April.
