An unusual and charming English terracotta plinth or garden seat in the form of an ivy-covered tree-trunk.

Long Range Desert Group rum jar

Found in pieces 20km NW of Wadi Sora in the Libyan Desert. Used in WWII. Stamped S.R.D. – Supply Reserve Depot.

The lady who owned this urn was planning to sell it. She emptied out the plants and discovered that it was Gibbs and Canning and contacted me as a result. The lady kindly sent me photographs. The urn is 46 inches tall and is in three parts.
