Willow and Flora

Willow and Flora are brother and sister. They have spent all of their lives together. As a result they are very fond of each other. They were rescued and came to us at the age of about two on Sunday 27th May 2001. At first they were very shy, but as each day passes they become more convinced that they are safe here, and that we want them to be happy.
catflap.jpg (28184 bytes) They love to go in and out of their cat flap. However they seem to be quite happy for it to be locked at night, with them safely inside.
gardening.jpg (28594 bytes) Both of them are acquiring a taste for gardening. It took some while for them to get the idea of joining us when we are outside. It is really pleasant to look up and see them sitting there, or climbing out little cherry tree.
wallw.jpg (27540 bytes) The wall is an excellent vantage point. They can look outside the garden, which they most often do, or look in.
roll.jpg (32800 bytes) Flora often rolls over in sheer happiness. She usually makes a little murmuring noise when she does.
willow in bed.jpg (23039 bytes) Willow has taken to his radiator bed. Here he is sitting up, but he is often so curled up you can hardly see that he is a cat!
floracomfort.jpg (30054 bytes) Flora's favourite sleeping place is the computer chair. Fortunately she does not mind it being pushed out of the way so that we can get to the computer!
smile.jpg (39669 bytes) This is Flora's smile. She happily purrs, especially if we have just returned from being out.
willow on TVb.jpg (38949 bytes) Willow likes to be on TV. Telling him it is only made of plastic has no effect whatsoever - he doesn't mind it creaking.
lostb.jpg (52471 bytes) We once lost Willow somewhere in the house. It took quite a while to think to look on top of the utility room cupboards! He has also been on top of the wardrobes.

Keep an eye on these pages to see what they get up to in their new home. This picture was taken just after they joined us. We hope they have long and happy lives with us.
