Recruitment of students is undertaken by the many national committees all around the world, which usually consists of United World College Alumni but also include other prominent members of society with links to the United World College movement.
Each dorm usually contains students from four different nationalities resulting in an exchange of cultures at a personal level. At the academic level this diverse body of students bring to the table many differing thoughts, ideas and opinions that add to the intellectual experiences of Atlantic College.
At present there are close to 80 countries represented making AC truly a college of the people of the world.
