Welcome to the Applied Technology Service Home Page
The Applied Technology Service supports Wolverhampton schools in their use of electrical equipment such as televisions, video recorders and overhead projectors. The service also supports the use of Information Technology in a school context covering hardware repairs and upgrades and support for a variety of Industry Standard and curriculum software.
In addition to a basic support role, the service has also developed a number of resources based around clip art to enhance the teaching of certain aspects of the National Curriculum - topics include EGYPT, THE AZTECS, THE TUDORS, EASTER, CHRISTMAS, JUDAISM...etc.
Other items produced at the Jennie Lee Centre include ACCESS Signing Materials. These give hearing impaired children improved access to the National Curriculum through the use of sign language.
