The Barry Sixth Form is the combination of two successful schools in the
Barry area: Barry Comprehensive School and Bryn Hafren Comprehensive School.
The two schools have worked closely together since 1993 to provide a co-educational
Sixth Form that offers the widest possible choice of courses to its students.
A range of over 20 A level subjects and a variety of GNVQ's are offered.
There are also resit GCSE Courses in English and Mathematics.

The contact between the schools encourages combined activities, social
as well as academic. Debates, musical presentations and drama productions,
for example, are a source of great enjoyment and benefit to the Sixth
Form and to the schools as a whole.
Each
student has a personal tutor and is monitored closely throughout his or
her time in the Sixth Form. This contributes enormously to student success.
