8th - 11th December 1998

Dear Auchterellon

Two weeks in a row with people from the same school. What a joy!

Here are some photos taken on the first day at the tree study. they seem to be of the same two people.... hope you don't mind.

Girls and trees Here are Paula and Allice getting to know a tree down at the picnic area on the banks of the River Dee.
Oh No! Here they are again... this time measuring the length of Allice's nose to see if she's been telling the truth. How tall?

That was the first day's activities... On the second day we wandered up the local hill... Craigendarroch. The girls in Mr Taylor's group had to stand while the boys sat on a bench because they were too tired... poor wee things!!

We can't believe it! I know the girls look happy, but they just cannot believe that the boys had to sit down!
The boys also look happy... but then they are sitting down and very smug they are about it too! We, the boys, rule the bench!

There are even more pictures from this week down below if you'd care to look...

The boys ask the tree for the answers. Yes Kyle and Craig... now we know it's a tree. How can that help us find out how clean the air is?
Well girls... I see you have also found a tree. I'm afraid you'll have to ask Holly what happened next. The girls find a tree.

Well folks... that's the page finished then. I hope you had a really good time this week. I know that my staff certainly did. So look after yourself and have a really good Christmas.

Best wishes
