2nd February - 5th February 1999
Dear Clerkhill, week two, the sequel.
Well the week started off very well with the weather being kind to us. The sun was shining and the weather began to turn almost spring-like. The birds certainly thought it was spring, singing their little hearts out, bless them. However, although it was warm on Wednesday the birds had a bit of a problem getting anywhere as the wind was a bit strong. Didn't stop us going out though. It did make things quite difficult on Thursdayand we never did get up Craigendarroch. Never mind, we did lots of other things which were fun instead, so I hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

Poem by Friday's Electricity Group We were nice We were good We have electricity like we should Wasting it is not our way We only used 170 yesterday |
This week's group did a really good job at being environmental stewards. They had used a huge amount of water on the second day.... why it happened, we're not sure. The electricity used on each day was about the same. The last day proved just how good they were, however, when both the water and electricity readings came down. Very well done!
