26th - 29th April 1999

Dear everybody

Well what a pleasant surprise it was to see the sun and some more faces that we recognised. Thank you all for bringing the sun with you by the way. It was lovely and warm, almost summer-like when you arrived. I hope you've all had a great week.

Well, as you can see from below, our roving photographer has been out and about.

Amanda Here's Amanda sunning herself in the playground... well actually she was supposed to be playing basketball but she couldn't get the ball from Jay and Robert! Amanda again Amanda again! This time rehearsing a scene from Saturday Night Fever, her role being that of Jean Travolta. either that or she's having a freshness test!
Three girls pondering... Three Girls Two boys sitting... Alan And Neil
Amanda and Amanda sitting by a tree. Amy Moving on we can see Amy pretending to work...
Amy is joined by Stephanie who is bemused by the concept of anyone having to work on such a beautiful day. Amy and Stephanie Here's Craig, who is definitely in pose mode! Craig
Donna ...and Donna, who is definitely in thinking mode. Kevin and Ross How long do you think it is Kevin?
Miss Gauld making sure that she is keeping her chin up. Laura Martin and Alex get down to some serious tree worshipping. Martin and Alex
Ritchie Yes... I do believe it is a tree boys. I think you could safely write that down in your booklets. Scott Scott... on a very short break from taking photographs. How much film did you have with you, by the way?
Scott... another one... stunned by the amount of photos that the previous Scott has taken already. Scott Stephanie, having studied Amy's technique of pretending to look busy, seems to have mastered the technique. Stephanie
People doing nothing Here we have two teachers doing nothing except observing another two teachers doing something similar! Shocking! Well, Amy, what did you expect would happen when you stick your fingers in the electric socket!!!
Joy looks a little concerned at Amy's misfortune. Amy, however, seems to be well on the way to recovery! Oh Goodness And last of all, we have a beautiful day at Loch Muick. It's the first time Mr Taylor's seen Loch Muick perfectly calm! Loch Muick

Finally a little bit of poetry to finish the page.

A poem about Water
Water water everywhere
We use water to wash our hair.
Water is useful in every way
You need 3 pints to drink each day
Our bodies are full of H2O
If we drink too much we need to go
We need water for many things
Everyone uses it... even kings!
When doing our sums we got confused
5623 units used
All plants need water to grow
Yesterday the rainfall was really low
Don't waste water, use it well
It's important you can tell

Well Gang

That's the end of yet another week. Wasn't the weather beautiful? You were all great too. It's always a good sign when you have two schools together and you can't tell who's who. Excellent. Keep in touch... take good care of yourselves.

Best wishes

Beecy
