3rd - 6th November 1998

Dear Kinellar and Logie Coldstone Primary Schools

It was so nice to have you all here this week. It has been a good start to the primary season even though it was rather cold this week... wasn't it? I think we all had a lot of fun though, didn't we? Remember to check out my web site from time to time to see what's happening. Do call back soon and please continue being good environmental stewards.

Best wishes from Beecy and all the staff.

Here is a poem that the girls in the weather group wrote on Friday. I think it's rather good... see what you think.

The temperature is just over zero degrees

That means today no one will freeze

The sun is blocked by a thin haze of cloud

If the sun gets out the cheers will be loud

This won't be painful

There hasn't been much rainful

It's not heaven

But in millimetres it was 0.7

There is no wind today

So you can go out to play

And not be blown away

There won't be much change

Everything will stay in the same range.

Good... isn't it?

Here are some photos of the group this week.

Is this a tree? Here's the group with Mr. Taylor. I'm sure the children knew it was a tree... or were they looking at something else?

No... Kim from Kinellar has not been caught in a sudden downpour. She's just been for a shower fully clothed! Boy... that was wet!

What's going on? Have the boys got their hands on Mr Taylor's copy of Tomb Raider 3? No they're playing a game called Guardians of the Greenwood... all about the environment.

How many packets of crayons do you think it takes to colour in one folder? Crayon hoarder

Guy Fawkes Night It looks as if Robbie the chef is having a bit of a crisis in the kitchen.... no not really! The children had a trip to the local bonfire on November 5th.

We all made lovely sunset pictures. They were all really great! Painting the sky

Well... that's probably enough for the time being.... thanks for visiting. Do come back soon.
