Well Gang

That's yet another most enjoyable week past. I can say that my staff have, once again, had a really good time. So thank you all for your hard work and good humour. Perhaps the event that made the week even more memorable was the surprise visitof the hunky Beecy Boys fresh from their recent chart successes and appearance on Top of the Pops and The Teletubbies. There was a lot of swooning and crooning going on this week. I must ask them what the secret of their success is so I can get myself a new bird!! Anyway, we managed to get an exclusive picture of the Boys. In fact, to the best of my knowledge, this is the only picture of the boys together... so thank you lads and here's wishing every success in the future.

Keep in touch folks. Remember I am only an Email away, and if you want to start that environmental awareness page send me some stuff through the post.

Best wishes

Beecy

P.S. You'll be happy to hear that the teachers who were up this week eventually did find the Fountain of Youth. We were all rather concerned for their sanity for a short while! But here in the picture to our right is the proof. Proof of what? I'm not really sure! Fountain of Youth

And now... the moment you've all been waiting for... it's the...

Next we have some pictures from this week... enjoy!

Up Craigendarroch These young people from Newtonhill find themselves neither up nor down as they take a breather on their way up Craigendarroch.
What have you got? Stuck for an answer? Look at your partner's sheet. Copying is not a good idea... but sharing ideas with your partner is very acceptable.
Is it raining here? No the girls are indulging in the cold shower, which is the traditional way to follow the five mile run. Raining?
Finally, look at all the sad faces here. They're going home and they know it. Actually it's the thought of having a shower which is filling them with dread. Going home

Now we have some pictures and writing from the week. Both the pieces of writing are about the weather it would seem. The pictures selected are only a few of the many excellent ones we completed on Wednesday.

Primitive art Kylie and I decided that there were so many different ways of looking at this picture. It looks like so many different things. Good work!
This was one of many leaves drawn on Wednesday evening. This one happens to be Laura's. It's good isn't it? Laura's leaf
{short description of image} The combination of pencil and scaper board works really well here. The little image you see here doesn't really do it justice. Well done Steph.
Another feather... Yet it looks so different from the one above. This one was done by Claire and was the first one I saw completed. Again the original was so much better. Excellent work Claire and well done to you all. {short description of image}

And now some written work...

Four degrees
There will be a breeze
It could be rain or snow...
We just don't know.
You got to wrap up tight
And see the light
Because with Beecy... we're all right!
Wind is coming from the South
Low dark clouds scatter all about
When it rains we won't care
We'll just wear our waterproofs.
When we come back from the Burn o' Vat
We have to dry our feet on the mat.

Well that's it for another week folks. Check out Beecy's Gallery where there are lots of pictures done by the pupils who have visited the Centre in the past... including the one's you see above.

Take care and remember... Do keep in touch
