Offering excellent, up-to-date facilities, the Centre occupies the former village school building.
Accommodation includes attractively designed student dormitories and staff sleeping quarters, each with en suite facilities. (all non-allergenic bed linen is provided).
There is an excellent drying room, for those who wish there is a limited laundry capacity.
A well equipped kitchen and dining area provides meals - breakfast, packed lunch, evening meal and light supper on all courses.
A well equipped field laboratory with video microscope, a resource base, library, computer suite and remote sensing weather station are available for use by all residents.
Overall, the Centre is well-equipped and comfortable with central heating throughout.
The Centre has it's own minibus and bicycles
The Centre offers up to 36 student bed spaces, and up to 4 places for accompanying staff.
Numbers may be limited on some courses.
A small 10-12 bedded cottage adjacent to the Centre is now available to groups. This may be used separately, or in conjunction with the main building, to allow an increased capacity or greater flexibility. accommodation on two floors comprises 2x3-bedded rooms, 1x4-bedded room, a single room downstairs (leaders), kitchen, lounge and two shower/bathrooms.
