Outline of Current Courses provided by the Art Department
At KS3 the Art course at Bellemoor is designed to offer a broad artistic experince to pupils delivered in 3 modules. These modules are Painting and Drawing, Printing and IT, and, Sculpture. Pupils follow each course for one term, with the result that, by the end of the year, pupils have been introduced to a wide range of artisic disciplines.

At KS4 pupils follow a course of 6 projects leading up to a final exam. Each project provides the opportunity to explore their own ideas and approach to their work within the frameowork of a given design brief.

Pupils produce six projects of work over the course of their two years which forms the coursework component of their exam. In addition, pupils complete a timed test piece of work which forms the Exam Piece. 60% of the final GCSE grade will be based on coursework and 40% will be based on the Exam piece.
