Mr Beighton
| Mr Beighton has been
teaching at Bishop Barrington since September 2000. His previous teaching
posts have been at Shotton Hall Comprehensive School, Peterlee and
Bishopsgarth School in Stockton.
Mr Beighton obtained his teaching qualifications at Manchester Metropolitan University, where he also achieved a degree in History. His hobbies include, football, reading and playing chess. He is an avid supporter of Sheffield United Football Club and also runs the Year 9 football team.

Mr. Lumley

Mr Lumley has been
teaching at Bishop Barrington since January 2001. Mr Lumley previously
taught for a short time at St John's Comprehensive.
He obtained his academic qualifications from St Andrews University, in Scotland, achieving an MA in Economics, whilst also studying many other subjects, such as: maths, music, statistics, philosophy and biblical studies. Mr Lumley's hobbies include listening to various types of music, reading books about history, walking, eating Marmite and drinking tea. He also feels that this photograph does him an injustice, as he looks much more frightening in real life.

Mr Neville Davison

Neville has been teaching at Bishop Barrington School for 36 years, and previously taught at Tofthill School.
Neville trained at Bede College at Durham University. He enjoys fell walking, hiking, camping and travelling to alpine areas.
Mrs. K. Hammerton – Careers Education, Math's and Examinations Officer
Kathleen
has taught at Bishop
Barrington School for 18 years. She studied at Exeter University and Darlington College of Arts, and Rolle College in
Exmouth. she also completed a careers qualification with the Manchester
metropolitan university.
Kathleen's interests include music, and caravan rallies with the caravan club concert band she enjoys playing golf and going to ceilidhs

The Math League specialises in math contests, books, and computer software designed to stimulate interest and confidence in mathematics for students from the 4th grade through high school. It helps revision and understanding of digits, multiples, factors, prime numbers, multiplication, and equations. SMARD – Maths database search
SMARD is the Secondary Mathematics Assessment and Resource Database. It provides an opportunity for secondary math's teachers to share quality assessment and resources. Most of the assessment and resources available from this site have been classroom-tested, and much of it is non-traditional. You are invited to browse through our collection, select what you want and take it away. And you are certainly invited to contribute to the database!
