Toilet Procedures Our toilet block is along a corridor from the nursery and we share it with P1 and P.2 pupils. It is our policy to accompany children to the toilet until each child feels secure enough to cope with this alone. We also have a specific 'toilet' time which gives all children the opportunity to go together. This often helps the children who are unsure about asking out themselves, and gives them the added comfort of being one of a crowd. Children are actively encouraged to wash their hands after using the toilet. If they go to the toilet without an adult they must wash their hands again on return to the nursery classroom. |
