Youngest Pupils - Two year curriculum
A small number of pupils may have two years in our nursery class - ante pre school year and pre school year.
All pupils will be allowed to make progress at their stages of development and will not be organised by year group. All pupils learn according to their stage of development
All resources in nursery are for use by all children.
All pupils will work on the same theme/topic
Topics/themes revisited in year 2 will be approached from a different aspect and whilst content will be similar, new ideas, stories and activities will be introduced
Children in their second year may be offered additional responsibilities given their 'experience'
The transition record may begin for pupils in their ante pre school year and will be discussed during appropriate parents meetings.
