CLASS TRIP -P.6

Where did they go?

They went to lock 16 in Falkirk. They got bus to transport them there. From lock 16 they walked to Dollar Park then to Callendar Park. The big event was for the reopening of the Forth and Clyde canal.

What topic was it for?

It was for their canal topic.

What did they do?

They made flags with waterproof material. They waved their flags in a pattern while marching. Their pattern was 4 steps out then 4 steps in, move their flag out then into the middle then in. then repeat the 4steps out then in then circle their flags for eight. Two dance teachers showed them what to do.

What special things did they see?

They saw Millie the fish which was a barge that was like a fish. Once Millie got through lock 16 she went up the canal to open the rest of it. Millie was a funny barge because it squirted water out at people.
