Drama Club 2001

When is it?

It is on a Monday from 3pm until 4pm.

Who is it for?

It is for pupils in Bonnybridge Primary School from Primary 5-7.

Who takes it?

Mrs Marshall, our learning support teacher, and Mrs Robertson one of our school teachers.

What show have you done this year?

This year the Drama Club performed a play called the Sparrow and the Sweep.

What was the show about?

It was about a sweep who got stuck up a chimney and found a bird's nest which was full of gold jewellery. A grandfather tells the story to his granddaughter and in the end it turns out that the  grandfather was the sweep.

Who got to see the show?

There was a performance for the pupils and a separate one for families and friends.

Who was involved in helping the drama club?

The Computer Club, Country Dancing, parents and teachers helped us a lot.

What did they do?

The Computer club helped make the programmes and the teachers and parents helped by selling raffle tickets and also with lighting.The Country Dancers danced The Millennium Wheel on the night of the parents and family show. The Modern Dancing Club also  performed one of their dances.
