When was the school's birthday? The school's birthday was on the 26th April. The school was opened by councillor David Mann 40 years ago. |

What has the school done to commemorate the occasion? Slide Show Councillor Buchannan arranged a slide show for the school's birthday. He showed pictures of the school 40 years ago and things from that period. Everyone enjoyed it! |

P6 and 5/6 assembly These two classes did an excellent assembly to celebrate the school's 40th birthday. They compared things from the old school to the new school. They found an old school logbook and read some of the extracts from it. It was interesting to learn that on Mr McKenzie's first day he had to send all the children home because of burst pipes. It was also interesting to learn that Mrs Jack came to the school as Miss Gardiner along time ago! |

Bugs and Mugs P7M made a business called Bugs and Mugs where they sold bugs and mugs. You could buy a mug for £2.50 and a bug for 65p or the both of them at £3.00. |
