"There are a lot of opportunities available to pupils here. The staff are qualified, polite and helpful and so provide an excellent working environment. There is plenty of time to socialise and many clubs to go to ranging from sports for boys and girls, to the electronics club!
I also enjoy being the school drummer as my talent is recognised here."

"There's lots to do while I'm learning new skills. I especially enjoy technology where I produce electronic projects during lessons and then build what I want, with expert advice from teachers, after school!"

Edward Appleyard:

"The music department is especially good and well equipped. I have taken GCSE music and although the theory work seems a little tedious, the practical lessons more than make up for it.
If you play an instrument, your talent is recognised here.
If not, you can soon learn, with tutors coming to the school providing lessons for string instruments (violins, guitars etc), woodwind, brass and drums. We also have many musical groups: A concert band, jazz group, flute choir and a normal choir, to name just a few."
