Recent Achievements

---

Drama and Music
Over the past 4 years the school has entered the Opportunity Knocks Festival as part of Methlick Fun Week. The performances have involved all the children and have involved both Music and Drama. On 3 successive occasions, in front of audiences of 350 people, our entry has come first.

Football
Our football team has been promoted out of the B League (comprising small schools) to the A League, where it came second. We are now competing against schools approximately 4 to 5 times our size.


Badminton
A badminton club has been established in school for PIV - VII.

Netball and Basketball
A lunchtime club for any child wanting to play has started at lunchtime.

Scotquiz
Our team aquitted themselves creditably in the newly restarted Scotquiz general knowledge competetion.

Activity Holidays
Over the past 3 years our school has joined with Bartholchapel, Tarves and recently Arnage in taking children on Activity Holidays to Abernethy, Ardeonaig, York and Aboyne.

Instrumental Tuition
We have managed to get instrumental tuition for one of our pupils for the first time ever.
