Former Pupils
Campion Catholic High School

Below are some of Campion's former pupils. Some, like footballer Steve McManaman, have achieved success in high profile, public areas, but many others have left Campion and gone on to successful careers in other fields.

Anthony Hoare is currently studying Art at Staffordshire University.

Our picture shows Anthony with former Headteacher Mr Wallace on the occassion of his retirement. Anthony painted this portrait and was asked to present it to Mr Wallace at his retirement party. Mr Wallace always encouraged 'old boys' to return for Prize Night to present awards to our current pupils, so it was nice to return the compliment by having an old boy present him with a gift.

Anthony and David Mulholland
Boxing brothers Tony (Left) and Dave (Right) both represented England at schoolboy and Senior level. Tony was an England representative from 1992 to 96 and England Senior Amateur Boxing Association Champion, 1996. David was National Association of Boys Clubs Champion, 1993, England Schoolboys representative, 1994 and National Schoolboys Finalist, 1995/96. In 2000 David won Gold in the Multi-Nations European Qualifiers and in 2002 became ABA Champion and won the Four Nations Gold Medal. He is currently ranked English Number One and European Number Six.

David is now employed at Campion Catholic High School as a Teaching Assistant.

England, Real Madrid and former Liverpool footballer Steve McManaman attended Campion from 1989 to 1994.

After a successful, FA Cup winning career at Liverpool Steve moved to Real Madrid where he has achieved European Cup and league successes.
